The old panda car’s going away :-(
With a new Panda car replacing it… WooooOwo00oo00oo00…
I was watching a clip of Top Gear the other night and The Clarkson was racing a marathon runner round the London Marathon course in a Panda 4x4, just like mine. He finally got round to talking about the car and brilliantly described it as
".. Like a little Donkey, this is a great little car, cheap to buy, cheap to run, dependable, go anywhere…"
Not often The Clarkson speaks any sense, but I think I see his point for once. We’ve done 34,500 miles in the old Panda 4x4 since Sept 2005, with only one minor problem with it since new, the boot switch failing and needing replaced. Not bad going for a little Donkey / Panda made in Poland by Fiat for under 9 grand.
